Alkaline

Non−Rechargeable (Primary)

The Alkaline batteries we supply are primary batteries which are dependent upon the reaction between zinc and manganese dioxide (Zn/MnO2).Compared to zinc chloride types, alkaline batteries have a higher energy density and longer shelf-life, with the same voltage.

In Japan and mainland Europe Alkaline batteries account for around half of all batteries sold. In the USA it is even higher at around three quarters of all batteries used. Current sales are around 10 billion batteries per year World-wide.

We have some great lines including Duracell, ATC and Hi-Watt offering high capacities, consistently strong service levels and competitive commercial terms.
